Our role in handling personal information

This Privacy Notice explains how Xiamen Yueyanfang Network Technology Co., Ltd. handles personal information in connection with Monvexam and www.monvexam.com. We are the responsible business and, where that term applies under privacy law, the data controller. Our contact details are provided below.

This notice covers browsing our store, placing an order, requesting support and interacting with store marketing. It does not replace the independent privacy notices of payment services or external websites you choose to use.

Types of information involved

Order and contact information includes your name, email, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, items ordered, transaction reference, payment status, delivery records and return details.

Payment information is handled through the payment services offered at checkout. Those services may provide us with transaction confirmations and limited payment identifiers needed to manage an order or refund. Never send full card details by email.

Support information includes messages, order references and photographs or other evidence you provide about a product or delivery issue. Account information, if you create an account, includes the details needed to maintain it. Reviews and other content you submit may contain personal information; avoid including private contact details in public submissions.

Technical information can include an IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, referral source, approximate location inferred from network data, and cookie or similar identifiers. The information actually collected depends on the tools in use and applicable consent or opt-out settings.

Purposes and legal grounds

We use information to receive and fulfil orders, collect payment, send transaction updates, arrange delivery, handle returns and provide customer support. If you do not provide information necessary to complete an order, we may be unable to fulfil it.

We also use information to protect the store against fraud and misuse, maintain security, keep required records and resolve disputes. Where analytics or marketing tools are enabled, information may be used to understand store usage, measure campaigns or present relevant advertising, subject to applicable privacy choices.

Where a legal basis is required, order fulfilment and related service rely on performing our contract with you; required tax and transaction records rely on legal obligations; proportionate security and service improvement may rely on legitimate interests; and activities that require consent rely on your consent. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

When information is disclosed

Information needed for a task may be disclosed to storefront and hosting providers, payment and fraud-prevention services, fulfilment partners, carriers, customer service providers and professional advisers. When enabled, analytics and advertising services may receive device, browsing or event information. They are not entitled to receive unrelated order information merely because they provide a service.

We may disclose information where necessary to meet a legal obligation, respond to a lawful request, protect legal rights, or manage a genuine business reorganization with appropriate safeguards. We do not publish customer addresses or support correspondence as marketing content.

Cookies and advertising choices

Essential technologies support functions such as the cart, checkout, security and requested preferences. Analytics technologies help measure use of the store. Advertising technologies may associate visits or purchase events with campaigns and may support advertising across websites.

Where consent is required, non-essential technologies must remain inactive until you consent. You may decline non-essential technologies without losing access to ordinary purchasing functions. Use the store's cookie preference control where available to change your choice; browser settings also allow you to remove or block cookies, although blocking necessary cookies may affect checkout.

Some advertising disclosures may count as a sale, sharing or targeted advertising under applicable US state law even if no money is exchanged. Where the law provides these rights, you may opt out through the store's privacy controls or by emailing service@monvexam.com. We will give effect to valid legally recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as required by applicable law. A marketing opt-out does not stop necessary order messages.

Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including applicable accounting, tax, dispute and legal requirements. Order records are retained for the relevant statutory recordkeeping period; support records for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the enquiry and related claims; and marketing preferences until changed or no longer needed. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymized, subject to lawful retention and backup cycles.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards proportionate to the information involved. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Contact us if you believe your account or information has been misused.

International handling

Our operator is established in mainland China. Your information may be accessed or processed there and in other countries where service providers operate. Where required, transfers must be supported by an appropriate legal mechanism and safeguards. You may contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

Making a privacy request

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a portable copy of information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. You may also have rights concerning sensitive information and automated decisions where relevant. Not every right applies to every processing activity.

Email service@monvexam.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and describe what you would like us to do. We may request proportionate information to verify identity and authority. An authorized agent may act for you where law permits. We respond within applicable legal deadlines, explain any lawful refusal and provide appeal information where required. We do not discriminate against you for exercising a protected privacy right. You may complain to the competent privacy authority.

Children and changes

This store is intended for adults making household purchases. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information for marketing. A parent or guardian may contact us about information submitted by a child.

We update this notice when our practices or requirements change and revise the date shown above. Where required, we provide additional notice or obtain fresh consent before a material change takes effect.
